AMPLIFY Boston '26

Strengthening the infrastructure where 3,000 creators work monthly.
We are securing an economic engine that is already running.

When Sound Museum closed, artists like Destrashn lost their workspace overnight.

Destrashn found a home at TRC's 55 Morrissey—one of 3,000 artists who work here monthly. But here's the truth: 55 Morrissey is temporary.

That's why we're launching Amplify Boston.

Strategic Investment in Three Priorities

TRC Academy Students

EXPAND TRC Academy

Demand exceeds capacity. Investment expands our music business, recording engineering, and production programs taught by Berklee professors.

INVEST in Capital Improvements

SECURE Permanent Infrastructure

55 Morrissey is temporary. We're advocating for lease renewal, exploring building options, and partnering with the city to secure permanent creative infrastructure.

"We built 108 workspaces serving 3,000 artists monthly. We launched TRC Academy serving 150 students annually. This infrastructure works. Amplify Boston expands it and makes it permanent."

Executive Director, The Record Co.

Common Questions

Why June 30, 2026?

Strategic planning cycle. We're making decisions about 55 Morrissey permanence in January 2027. Investment now funds expansion and advocacy.

What happens if you don't reach $1.5M?

We prioritize based on what we raise. Every dollar funds expansion, capital improvements, or permanence planning.

Is 55 Morrissey closing?

No. We have options: lease renewal, alternative buildings, city partnership. Amplify Boston funds the advocacy to secure the right solution.

Is my donation tax-deductible?

Yes. The Record Co. is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit. All donations are tax-deductible.
