Nelson Corea — better known as Nelly Pro-Tools — is a heavyweight of the Boston music scene, with the resume to back it up. For more than a decade he's engineered, produced, and mixed for some of Boston's top Hip Hop and R&B artists — and for artists around the globe. He co-owned The REC Room, a full commercial tracking studio in Boston, from 2012 to 2021, and co-founded Halcyon Music Group.
The Pro Tools mastery is in the name; so is the range — recording, tuning, mixing, mastering, hybrid analog/digital workflows, beat making, and vocal comping. Everything it takes to turn a rough idea into a finished record.
